Tim Gifford Norfolk, Virginia Gifford Realty, founded by Joan Gifford in 1955, and one of the first Norfolk businesses owned by a woman. Tim Gifford, the firm’s managing broker, with over thirty-five years of real estate experience, learned at the knee of his entrepreneurial mother. Before joining Gifford in 1974, Tim joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam War earning three Bronze Stars and three Purple Hearts for his service.
